facebook-imageI am an architectural designer in Seattle.  My company is Ten Directions Design, and I specialize in home remodels as well as the design of  new houses.  I also teach meditation at the Shambhala Center branch in the Ballard neighborhood.  I look forward to exploring both of these topics and see how they interact.

The name Ten Directions reflects both of these interests. It has several layers of meaning.  I was thinking of using 3D Design when I started out in 1990, but that was already taken.  So I decided to use the ancient Buddhist phrase “ten directions” to represent both the 3D component of my work, as well as a sense of unencumbered space, implying the ability to overcome obstacles.
